Book Title: The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas             January 27,2012

 Part I

I felt the pride and mad sword fighting skill of D'Artagnan for him to be part of the King's servant . However, I was curious about the story at first. I am not expecting how the story goes; isn't the three Musketeers as the main characters who were being much involved or D'Artagnan who wanted to be part of the three Musketeers. But as the story goes on D'Artagnan took a stand and became important servant. And I guess it was a great decision of the D'Artagnan and the three Musketeers to build their friendship and fight against the Cardinalist's evil power. Determination leads whoever is in fail as D'Artagnan who is being faithful to King Louis XIII never failed to help who is in need most especially as the King's order .

Within the story it builds my mind of how great and wealthy the people were living under the King's rule. When I was in my High School days I have watched the Mummy Return and the Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I connect the story with this through the civilization  of the people living with Emperor. however, the main characters who were not typically connected with the enemies who built so much helped to defeat the Emperor against them. With this, it is much important to have determination and bravery against and evil power.

I wonder why the Father of D'Artagnan did not go along with his son on the Paris and what if the Three Musketeers are being rude to D'Artagnan in becoming him one of them? Will the three Musketeers succeeded to return the diamond studs of Queen Anne? And I also wonder why isn't why the Cardinal and Milady are insecure on the wealthy living yet they are not also powerful as the King? If the Cardinal's agent named Milady was still alive and not executed will she reign the power she wanted?

I think the companionship of D'Artagnan along the three Musketeer's is worthy and exceptionally proud and intelligent. He brings them with no resources except his wits and his skill with sword. And with that the weak and unintelligent rules of the King Louis XIII is now more powerful and stronger and the evil power of the Cardinalists.

Part II

Poem for D'Artagnan

Life has gotten complicated in a hurry
Reached out the place at 17th century
Paris and the King who I wanted to meet
I must take a stand for bravery needs

Cardinals ended up quite a good fight
Being the side of Royalist shouldn't lose sight
I haven't heard determined on sowing dissent and anger
But the love and faith and not the prowess with the sword

All the loose ends are wrapped up
But my three great friends and I are spirited and gallant
United by  the courage, bravery and loyalty
To save the day and bring out justice up high
